Wichita Festivals Inc. Announces
New Board Members & Officers

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita Festivals, Inc., (WFI) a non-profit corporation with the purpose of community celebration, announced today its newest members of the Board of Directors: Kay Monk-Morgan and Reuben Eckels.
“We are pleased to have Kay and Reuben join our board, to share their expertise and experience as we continue to improve Riverfest and create other new signature events for our community,” Janet Wright, President/CEO of WFI, said.
Monk-Morgan and Eckels might be new to the WFI Board, but have been a part of the Wichita community for years. Monk-Morgan is currently serving as the director of Upward Bound Math and Science at Wichita State University, while Eckels is a pastor at New Day Christian Church and head of the Wichita Ministerial League.
New officers for 2009-10 are Tim Richards, Chair; Clay Bastian, Fidelity Financial Corporation - Chair Elect; Richard Honeyman, Secretary-Treasurer.
